return!

i'm back!

covenant college was amazingly wonderfully beautiful--i liked it a whole heck of a lot. i really, really did. (and i got to see kyrie & sienna!)

sooo...i suppose the only thing that's stopping me now is raising approximately 4.6 billion dollars in order to attend the daggone place! no problem. yeah. yes. sure.

let's see...lifegaurding. and i can bus tables. and hostess at general tanuki's. and help ann with jewelry. and babysit. and work at mom's store. and do paperwork & photography for dad. and sell my semi-precious belongings on ebay.

lemonade stands? am i too old for those?
how about door-to-door solicitation?

some things should be free.
like deodorant and dental surgery and trail mix and college educations. how come nobody told me in third grade that i should be saving the dimes i found in the dryer for college? oh dear.

we visited bryan college too, but they had zero art programs. and they favor short people. (shower heads? discrimination against anyone over five foot four.) but i just can't pretend to be one. i mean, c'mon people, haven't you ever seen the ugly dachsund? a great dane is not the same thing as a weiner dog, no matter how confidently convinced he may be. it's okay though! i love short people. no hard feelings.

i do understand that though i may badly wish to go to covenant, it may not be the right thing. today's sermon? yeah, i was cringing inside. my plans aren't really up to me. they're God's. i have to let them go His way. gosh, i'm awful. oh, oh, i am awful.

we had a twelve-hour car trip. minivan. seven people. on the way home, anna and emma and i sat in the back...all crammed together. it was fun(ish) after a while. after so long your common sense kind of drips out of your ears and hides under the seat, and you begin to repeat words such as "bummer" over and over pointlessly, and maybe take the headrests off the seats and wave them around, and maybe laugh until you cry.

dressing up as pam! that is so awesome!! so obviously your husband is going to be jim, right?? (i was a three-hole-punched version of myself for halloween last year, like jim in the halloween episode. ben should be that. it's the greatest five-minute costume ever.)

yeah, i'll need to see pictures of that for sure. :)
