Oh Annie I love This! Hee hee. This is one of Eryn's (i know right, what seven year old like would enjoy it but it's true) favorite shows and whenever it comes on we watch it.
Elizabeth, I know another seven year old who loved this show!...me! Our family used to watch this every saturday night. Later on, Mama and I used to watch this and a few other GREAT classics (As Time Goes By and Last of The Summer Wine) on weekday afternoons (when I should have been doing school!).
I love this particular scene!! So many great ones.
This has inspired me to dig up some As Time Goes By on youtube.
Annie and Emma watched this with me at that tender age as well. They used to call her "the funny lady", as in, "Mom is it time for the funny lady yet?" Elizabeth Elliott, on the other hand,on the radio, was known to them as the "spanking lady", as in, "mommy, the spanking lady is on the radio now!"
