10:05 + 5:20 = 15:25

in case you were wondering, which on all accounts you most likely were not, it takes me exactly "majesty, snowbird" plus "barn owl, night killer" to walk to chesapeake college, and it takes me from track one to the middle of track six on "befriended" to walk to work. here i shall note that i typically walk briskly and broodingly to college, and slowly and happily to work. --always chomping on an apple, regardless of the destination. (routine: i finish eating said apple precisely as i walk by the post office, where there happens to be a trash can into which i toss the browning core, even though technically i know apples are biodegradable and would do just as well in the gutter for the birds to eat. do birds eat apples?)

changing the subject (kind of):
you should probably sit still for a minute and watch this.

isaiah 55:12

for you shall go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills before you
shall break forth into singing, and

all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

If I am alive this time next year
Will I have arrived in time to share?
Mine is about as good this far
I'm still applied to what you are
And I am joining all my thoughts to you
And I'm preparing every part for you
I heard from the trees a great parade
And I heard from the hills a band was made
Will I be invited to the sound?
Will I be a part of what you've made?
And I am throwing all my thoughts away
And I'm destroying every bet I've made
And I am joining all my thoughts to you
And I'm preparing every part for you

That's crazy how you can mark out specific times and various patterns you follow.

And very cool.

I haven't had an apple in a long time.

heh heh...it makes me feel like harold crick. (ever seen stranger than fiction? it's a good one.) but really, when i walk downtown (almost) every day i start to notice these things. can't be helped.

i eat an apple every day, and sometimes twice. they're good for you, anna, like water. (ha! no wonder you're sick all the time...sheesh. no apples, no water...what next--please tell me you breathe.)
