we went through a harriet the spy phase when we were six.
the other day i found emma's "PRIVATE NOTEBOOK."
this is one of the gems inside that set me laughing till tears were comin' out of my eyes.
i sure don't remember her being this crazed all the time.
i mean, for heaven's sakes, have you ever MET emma? she basically doesn't ever get angry or sad.
(i've always liked the way emma draws.)

But I beg to differ on an issue...you used to get very upset with Emma if she colored in her animals with "wrong" colors. For instance the one I always remember is Em coloring her bunny purple. t bothered you to no end....:)You, my little realist, wanted that bunny to be brown...

annie i kept that first shot on my blog cause i thought to myself 'annie would keep this.' i was very close to deleting it cause there weren't crisp and clean lines.
i was trying to channel you the whole day. '..if i were annie..."
