so, i love colors. i do love bright happy colors.
but sometimes, sometimes, i think brown is my favorite.
and hey, the clouds are pretty all the time, because they are floating and changing and moving all the time. no, wait, it's the earth that's doing that! us. we, the little human being bugs, on the earth. (on it! on it! floating!) and the clouds are doing all that too. the sky at five-fifteen looks quite different from the five-twenty-five sky. so there exists an abundance of opportunities to look up at the sky as you walk down the street and get a happy-daft sort of look on your face. which i do.
it's okay, you can laugh--
lately i've been struggling to find a way of steeling my heart against the general population's snickering at the things i find dear and fascinating and beautiful (and i'm not talking about you, mother).
oh, but it is awfully nice to be in the company of those who share my appreciation.
--which is not to say that i don't love the people who don't appreciate the things i do. really, really. ahem.

my point always is that maybe people aren't laughing with derision, they're laughing with delight. Maybe they're seeing the world through your wide-angle lens eye-view for the first time.
Or "...do not throw pearls to swine"!
:-)
But really I am with your mom-don't quit sharing because you probably ARE making others "see" what they haven't seen before or perhaps you will evoke GRATITUDE for God has given us mere mortals!
you said it very well.
I've tried expressing it before; but, it never came out as well as that.
Oh. I agree with your mom and mrs. taylor as well. Perhaps by repeatedly expressing your joy in certain things--you can teach others how to look at things with a litle more passion and a little more gratitude. A new perspective that they'll thank you for.
the sky is beautiful. always.
Aw, Annie. =]
We [meaning the volleyball team] all love your little musings. We only giggle & tease you because it's so random. But really, I do appreciate it!
I forgot to comment on your first little line. I like brown too. It may be a little less bright--but, it goes so well with other colors and compliments.
I'm glad I sounded like myself in my post. Ha, ha. that's a good thing. thanks.
oh mackenzee! i know you guys are just teasing! i love y'all!
